Online Therapy for Anxiety,Overthinking & Emotional Overwhelm

You might have found yourself here because…

…you notice that you’re struggling to keep a ‘lid’ on the anxiety and overthinking. It might be that the overthinking loops, the ‘what if’s’, feel as though they have replaced any want or desire you previously had. Like the anxiety has swooped into the driver’s seat and now they are the ones in control.

Perhaps you notice how much time you spend turning things over internally, trying to understand why you feel the way you do, replaying conversations, anticipating outcomes, or searching for the “right” way to respond, be, or feel. And maybe, on some level, you know why you feel anxious, yet you still find yourself in the same loops, struggling to break out of them to find your calm again.

It can feel confusing, even frustrating!

My clients and I often call this ‘The snowglobe’, those moments when something gets stirred inside of you and suddenly everything is in motion. Thoughts speeding up, emotions rising, old patterns getting pulled in, until it all feels too much and too difficult to see clearly.

Therapy, in many ways, is about placing the snow globe down gently, allowing things to settle at their own pace, until there’s space for us to see what’s actually there together.

If this is sounding familiar, I want you to know that it doesn’t have to stay this way, nor do you have to do it alone!

Hi! I’m Alex!

Therapist & Recovered Anxious Overthinker.

I’m a UK-based Online Therapist Who Works With Anxious, Emotionally Overloaded Humans.

People often choose to work with me because they feel I truly ‘get them’. Not just as a therapist, but someone who has been there.

I understand what it’s like to live in a body that’s always bracing, a mind that never switches off, someone who feels everything more intensely than it seems you’re “supposed to”.

I work with the overthinkers who have been taught to look ‘fine’ on the outside, the ‘sensitive’ ones who were told they were too much, so they learned to shrink or smile instead, and the ones who’ve spent years coping, masking, managing… but never really living authentically.

How Therapy With Me Might Feel Different

I won’t tell you to just reframe negative thoughts with positive ones. Nor will we battle your anxiety till it has no other option than to be compartmentalised… untill the next time it bubbles over.

Instead, we’ll get curious about what’s really happening inside.

Maybe your mind replays conversations because it’s terrified of saying the wrong thing.

Maybe you prepare for every possible scenario because uncertainty has always felt unsafe.

Maybe your emotions come in intense waves, not because you’re “too much,” but because you were never shown how to feel and process them.

Maybe that inner voice keeps warning you to “watch what you say” or “don’t be weird“, because it learned long ago that being misunderstood or judged hurts.

In our sessions, rather than fighting these parts of you in hope they disappear, we’ll begin to listen to what they’re saying, maybe it’s the fear of rejection, failure, abandonment, embarrassment or loss.

When we meet those places with compassion instead of pressure, something begins to shift. Anxiety turns into safety. Self-doubt turns into trust and self-confidence.

And life begins to feel less like survival, and more like living from a steadier and connected place inside you.
