Online Therapy for Anxiety & Overthinking
UK-wide therapy via secure video sessions, helping you feel calmer, clearer, and confident.
Who This Is For
I work with people who…
You might have found yourself here because…
…you notice that you’re struggling to keep a ‘lid’ on the anxiety and overthinking. It might be that the overthinking loops, the ‘what if’s’, feel as though they have replaced the ‘you’ that you once felt more connected to. Like the anxiety has swooped into the driver’s seat and now they are the ones in control.
Perhaps you notice how much time you spend turning things over internally, trying to understand why you feel the way you do, replaying conversations, anticipating outcomes, or searching for the “right” way to respond, be, or feel. And maybe, on some level, you know why you feel anxious, yet you still find yourself in the same loops, struggling to break out of them to find your calm again.
It can feel confusing, even frustrating!
My clients and I often call this ‘The snowglobe’, those moments when something gets stirred inside of you and suddenly everything is in motion. Thoughts speeding up, emotions rising, old patterns getting pulled in, until it all feels too much and too difficult to see clearly.
Therapy, in many ways, is about placing the snow globe down gently, allowing things to settle at their own pace, until there’s space for us to see what’s actually there together.
If this is sounding familiar, I want you to know that it doesn’t have to stay this way, nor do you have to do it alone!
Hi! I’m Alex!
Therapist & Recovered Anxious Overthinker.
I’m a UK-based Online Therapist Who Works With Anxious, Emotionally Overloaded Humans.
People often choose to work with me because they feel I truly ‘get them’. Not just as a therapist, but someone who has been there.
I understand what it’s like to live in a body that’s always bracing, a mind that never switches off, someone who feels everything more intensely than it seems you’re “supposed to”.
I work with the overthinkers who have been taught to look ‘fine’ on the outside, the ‘sensitive’ ones who were told they were too much, so they learned to shrink or smile instead, and the ones who’ve spent years coping, masking, managing… but never really living authentically.
How Therapy With Me Might Feel Different
You might be coming to therapy hoping for something that will finally make things feel clearer, calmer, or easier to manage. That makes sense. When things feel overwhelming or stuck, it’s natural to want relief, and to want it sooner rather than later!
At the same time, it’s important to say gently and honestly that the way I work isn’t about quick fixes, techniques, or giving out of session tasks to manage yourself better.
Not because those things are wrong or unhelpful, but because, for many of the people I work with, they’ve already tried that. They’ve read, completed thought logs, analysed, learned strategies… and yet still find themselves caught in the same patterns.
Instead, we work in a way that helps you start to experience yourself differently, not just understand yourself better. As things are gently explored and made sense of over time, what once felt overwhelming can begin to feel more steady and less consuming.
How To Get Started
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially when you’re not sure what happens first. Let me show you what the process looks like; how to get in touch, what to expect after reaching out, and how we begin working together!
You can drop me a message when you feel ready. People often share a brief outline of why they are seeking therapy! I aim to respond to enquiries within 24 hours.
Reach Out
We have a relaxed chat where you can ask any questions, share a bit about what’s going on, and get a sense of me too! I try to schedule an intro call within 7 days of you reaching out (if our diaries allow!)
Intro Chat
If it feels like a good fit, we’ll find a regular time that works for you and get your first session in the diary. If it doesn’t feel right, that’s completely okay too, there’s no pressure to continue.
Schedule First Session
We start where you are, gently exploring what’s you’ve been struggling with in a way that feels steady and supported!
